Training Sessions

On Tuesdays we have Interval Training or Hill Training and running drills to improve technique. This is geared to various levels of fitness and everyone works at their own pace. On Thursdays we have Fitness Training and Circuit Training, as a way of getting fit fairly quickly. This session is also geared to own pace.
Advice can be given on training for all distances, on diet and on motivational psychology.
Our annual 5 mile race this year will take place on Sunday 19th October at 11.am at Carlton Park Recreational Club, Saxmundham, Suffolk IP17 1AJ. This is a multi-terrain run on playing field, footpaths and off road. Race entry costs £12 for non-affiliated athletes, £10 for affiliated athletes and £2 extra if you enter the race on the day.
There are prizes to be won, a race memento for every finisher and excellent refreshments at the clubhouse.
